Asus USB-BT500 päivittää tietokoneesi käyttämään Bluetooth 5.0 -teknologiaa, joka mahdollistaa jopa kaksinkertaisen tiedonrsiirtonopeuden ja nelinkertaisen kantomatkan aiempiin Bluetooth-versioihin verrattuna. USB-BT500 on taaksepäin yhteensopiva myös Bluetooth 4.x, 3.x ja 2.1 -versioita käyttävien laitteiden kanssa.
